Off of Sofie’s SOS Tape, which will be released through Stones Throw Records this December 16th. ‘Sofie’ refers to Sofie Fatouretchi, a world-renowned DJ and one of the original members of the Boiler Room crew. The tape will span 24 songs and feature 26 artists, highlighting emerging acts both across the U.S. and internationally. Already made me a fan of Mndsgn, so I’ll be checking that project out for sure. Stones Throw one of the greatest labels to ever do it.
