Philly (from Charlotte) master of ceremony ‘Ivy Sole’ blew me away last year with her Eden album – didn’t think there was a bad song on there. She’s a vicious lyricist, and when you combine that with her strong ear for beats, it’s a win-win. This project continued the streak of impressive hip hop and is one of my favorite EPs of 2017 so far.
