T.F – No Hooks

ScHoolboy Q affiliate and friend ‘T.F’ just released his debut project, titled No Hooks. One of the album’s first singles ‘Unprofessional Shit’ has been in my rotation since it dropped a few months back, loved the gritty and dark vibe of the track. The rest of the EP was pretty much the same stylistically, filled with more dark beats and edgy vocal performances. Bars were on point too – liked that the album stayed trued to its title and didn’t have any choruses. This guy has exceeded my expectations in the months after ‘Tookie Knows II’ – add him to the list of dope West Coast MCs on the come up.
